Hello, folks! June7/19
In amongst our transitions here in Fernie and the gift and challenge of goodbyes, I'm starting to see the shape of the future. At last week's Pacific Mountain Region meeting in Langley I had the joy of meeting several Vancouver Island folks, and hearing about their communities and their ministry. In about 2 weeks I'll be attending Faith Fest, a Leadershift event in Nelson. I've found a lovely place to live in Nanaimo as of July, complete with big bright windows, a pleasant commute to Brechin House and garden space; even an apple tree right outside my door! I am very grateful this worked out well, given what a challenge it is to find housing in so many towns in BC.
The month between Knox and Brechin is becoming clear too. Highlights include time for hiking, retreat, family, and a long-anticipated paddling trip with friends back in the Cariboo on the Bowron Lake Chain. It'll be wonderful to meet you rested, reflected, and ready to settle in to a new home!
Thinking of you all in your own time of transition and trusting all is well. Deep peace, Tif.
